Kings Dentistry UCAT

Hi everyone. I just did my ucat and I’m quite disappointed with my score 1790 b2. I wanted to apply to kings dentistry. Anyone at kings please tell me if I have a chance. I got 4 A*s at ALEVELS in Bio, Chem, Art, Arabic and an A in EPQ so I was hopeful of my chances. I got 999988765 and Distinction at GCSE.

hiya, sorry you haven’t gotten any replies yet. i’m not an expert but i did apply dentistry last year with 2710 b1, A*A*A predicted, 999999999988 and got rejected pre int from kcl, qm, cardiff and leeds. i’m non contextual. i think you should go for it anyways especially if you’re contextual because what do you have to lose? but honestly the chances are sadly a bit low regarding kcl so be massively prepared to either go to a uni outside of london or to have to take a gap year. hope things work out x

aw ml i’m sorry i didn’t mean to dishearten you because i swear you never know what will happen and as i said i’m not an expert. if you’re contextual you can apply for kings esdp. can i ask though why you’re super set on kcl? is it because it’s in london? if so then qmul is in london too. is it because it’s no. 1? well qmul and bristol are rly good too and your dental degree would be just as credible and valued. are there other reasons? x. btw i’m not judging because i used to be really really set on kcl and was devastated when i didn’t get in, but i just had to move on and now i’m applying for medicine because it was my initial passion since i was a kid.
if it makes you feel better, idk what race or religion you are but i heard queen mary is super lively and fun and diverse compared to kcl and there’s lots of societies like arabsoc etc. please feel free to pm me if you wanna talk about the process or have questions or just wanna vent.
