Minimum Entry Requirements Glasgow Uni

i’m planning on applying to glasgow uni for psychology for september 2026 start and i haven’t met their minimum requirements for s5.

their minimum requirements by end of s5 are AABBB but i have only gotten AABBD ( appealing one of the B’s as it is one mark off of an A in english ). this year ( s6 ) im sitting AH Bio & Chem and H Psychology & Physics and i’m on track to get good grades this year ( hopefully enough to meet their cumulative grades of AAAAA ) but since i haven’t met the s5 minimum does this mean i will just automatically get rejected?

any information will be greatly appreciated and helpful !!

They may mean two things with their minimum grades by S5 and S6.

It may mean that you need to meet AABBB by the end of S5, or another set of slightly higher grades by the end of S6 if you don't meet the one by the end of S5.

Or, it may mean that you need to meet both the S5 and S6 grade requirements (I'm not sure how common this is though, I assume it is mostly the first option).

Your best bet is emailing Glasgow and asking what they mean by the entry requirements and to clarify the minimum grades you would need to get having already achieved AABBC.
