Grad Entry for Med School with Bad A-Levels:

Hi everyone,
I'm a graduate who's just gotten my UCAT results back and I'm a bit stuck on where to apply.

I got a UCAT score of 1960 with a Band 2 in the Situational Judgement Test. I've also graduated with a 1st class degree. My main problem is my A-levels; they're not great (like therye really bad and below the requirements), which I know rules me out of A-level heavy universities.

I'm hoping to get some advice on which medical schools might be a good fit for me, given my UCAT score and first-class degree, but weak A-levels. Are there any universities that focus more on the UCAT and degree rather than A-levels for graduate entry?
Any suggestions or personal experiences would be a massive help. Thanks!

Southampton, Warwick and Chester don’t rate A levels and GSCE’s at all

Thank you for those suggestions. I have been considering them just worried about the competition and there UCAT scores and if I would even get a place?

I think you have a good chance my daughter got into Southampton grad med with 2760 band 2 last year and that’s comparable to what you got this year

Congratulations for you daughter. uUnfortunately when I convert my score its 2650 in last years score so I'm worried it will fall short.

Do they look at Alevels. My a levels were DDE so really not good. Plus the funding issue. I would go for it if it was guaranteed entry but would they prefer a graduate over a levels for undergrad degree.
