For the next step Bristol programme if you meet the minimum entry requirements after this do they favour applicants with higher grades or applicants with more contextual factors or a combination of both and has anyone got in with mid GCSEs?!

Information about the programme is here: https://www.bristol.ac.uk/study/outreach/post-16/nextstep/ and includes the criteria they use to give priority if the programme is oversubscribed.

For more details you'd probably need to contact the university.

If you're interested in applying, then go for it! Don't be worrying about the ifs and buts -- if you're considering studying at Bristol and meet the criteria for applying then apply.
