Applying to Uni with one Alevel from 2025

Last year i did an extra Alevel and achieved a B.

Im applying for 2026 entry where my aspirational grades are BCC.

Im not sure how grade requirements would work for some unis like Cardiff as there isn’t any information about grades achieved in a different year.

In my case i want to apply for Computer Science at Cardiff where the requirement is BBC. So for me it would be BBCC. Would this still mean i could get into this course??

Email Cardiff and ask what their policy is re. A levels taken early.
And, are you certain that you match the contextual criteria for Cardiff?

Yeah try calling or sending an enquiry to our admission team, (contact linked here).
Or also you can try to go through clearing, as if there are spaces, clearing typically accepts people with 1-2 grades lower than expected, but I understand that can be a more uncertain route.
