Is normal for ucas application to not have updated after 46 hours?

I was offered a place at another university through clearing, I withdrew from my old university and received a confirmation follow up the withdrawal went through and I should be in clearing but nothing on my application has changed and I’m still shown as confirmed at my old university and it’s been around 46 hours already. I don’t think I can contact ucas of current since it’s the weekend.

Has anyone had this happen to them and how long does ucas usually take to update?

When did you get the clearing offer? DId they give a deadline to add it to UCAS?

If not, it's just because a lot of unis have UCAS sync with their systems overnight, so it may just be waiting for a sync.

I got the clearing offer on the 15th, on the 19th I got a confirmation of a withdrawal from my old university after enquiring if they still need to do something on their end to put me in clearing. The email for the clearing course says for as long as the course is in clearing, and on the site it says the deadline is the 24th I think for the course .

Hi Anom,

Sorry to hear you are dealing with these technical issues! 🖥️

If it hasn't been updated tomorrow, I recommend contacting UCAS to get some information, or just piece of mind that things are proceeding as normal. If the university has made you an offer through clearing, they will have it on their system so don't be too worried!.😊

I hope this helps, please feel free to ask me any questions,

Thank you, I followed up with ucas on live chat and the person basically said my university hasn’t actually released me which is why I’m not in clearing so now I’m following up with my university again

last update: so basically ucas said my old university had me withdrawn internally but not via ucas so I told the university to withdraw me via ucas too and they sent it to the registry and now I’m in clearing and have accepted the clearing course on time.
