It was an in person event organised by the A2L medsoc for local WP medicine applicants, very useful tho.

They said they’re expecting it to be early next week so like Mon,Tues,Wed but they will 100% all be out before Xmas break

Reckon yours will be ok though

I think Leeds are very pro achieved gcse grades. Someone last year had a whopping like 2900 ( old scoring system) and gor rejected due to gcses which is mad

Where else have you applied?

Theres also a link on their admission / ucat thresholds in their web page. A101 ucat score was around 2310 ( based on last years ucat scoring) which seems to infer selection made mainly on gcses given rejection of someone with high ucat / perhaps lower gcses.

Newcastle and Kent. Damn so I’m Cooked then idk if they only do the top 8 GCSE’s then it’s 99877766 which is bad tbf but not awful but idk if it’ll be enough especially if the ucat doesn’t help much. Do you think interviews will come today?

I know for a fact they weigh achieved grades and UCAT 50/50 they’ve said so a lot of times also mentioned the fact that a high UCAT can compensate for “lower” GCSES and vise versa so ur good lol
