Bus service changes (2)-Sept 2025.

With the UH term starting to get under way again, can I refer you to my previous post below of 15th July which details changes to bus services of interest to UH students.
Please also note that due to the amount of changes made this summer throughout Hertfordshire the paper timetables displayed at bus stops are out of date awaiting changing, and in most cases no longer applicable.
Hertfordshire County Council point this out on their very useful https://www.intalink.org.uk site which covers all services in Hertfordshire.
For UNO services go to https://www.unobus.info
I think there are something like four and half thousand bus stops in Hertfordshire, and only a small gang of around a dozen or so to get round and change them. The electronic indicators at the stops have been updated however.

One final point : unlike London or the suburbs where TfL ( Transport for London) run their services, just about all bus stops in Hertfordshire are request only, so make it clear by putting up your hand that you wish the bus to stop. (It states this clearly on the bus stop flags).
Regarding Oyster : this is valid to Potters Bar rail station and on the TfL run 298 & 313 buses which terminate ,there but not on the UNO/ Hertsmere/HCC run 242 & 243.
Oyster and contactless is also valid to Radlett rail station ( just south of St.Albans), Elstree & Borehamwood, Watford Junction & High Street, Bushey, Hertfordshire East and North.
Oyster is not valid at either Hatfield or St. Albans stations, although contactless is.
To the best of my knowledge, the TfL bus services to Watford (142, 258) , and Elstree & Borehamwood (107, 292) accept Oyster.
The UNO 614 which is a heavily used student route, does not as far as I know accept Oyster ( It did accept ZipOyster at one time, not sure if it still does).
Comments welcome.
