Bangor vs college Uni zoology

So, I have a hard decision to make, as uni applications arent far. I fell inlove with bangor as a university for zoology w herpetology and it seems great, however with financial costs and other huge costs (private transgender healthcare) i dont think I can afford bangor ontop of other huge priorities. I know about student finance etc. this isnt about advice for money, but would be helpful for someone from bangor to contact to discuss possible financial aid.

I have to chose between a) going to Bangor doing zoology after a gap year of savings
(away from home)

b) going to my colleges university which offers a similar degree (zoo science + wildlife conservation) is a foundation then a top up, has lots of modules u can tweak to specific interests + dissertation.
(at home)

Im considering going to bangor postgraduetely if not undergraduate. im not a big party person. i want to ensure i get onto the career of either zoology research or zookeeping. I like the independance of university and love the modules on both courses. I know this is a subject I should just think about myself as its subjective, however I want an outside opinion.
This has really thrown me off since I expected to 100% firm bangor as thats what my heart wants but money is an obstacle

If Bangor feels like the right place for you but you don't have a lot of money, starting your undergraduate studies in your hometown and then moving to Bangor for graduate school sounds like a good mix of passion and practicality.
