Speech and Language Therapy Msc

Hi everyone! I'm currently applying for the SLT Msc 2026 entry. I'm really passionate about the field and have done a lot of independent research, but I'm struggling to find any work experience to support this. I am volunteering with a stroke group to try and make up for this. Do you think this will be enough? Does anyone have any tips for the application and personal statement? Any help would be really appreciated

Your volunteering work is fine. You don't need work experience specifically in SLT but a day of shadowing experience with an SLT to show unis that you understand the role would be good. Contact local hospitals and clinics to try and get this before you apply. Be aware of the NHS values and six Cs and try to relate your work/volunteering experience to them in your personal statement (and in your interviews).
