Thread links from profile pages not working.

For about a week or so I’ve found the thread links on user profile pages, (all posts by user and all threads by user), have been non functional.
Has a good think, then gives a generic error message. Low traffic times of day. Showthead 2 and on mobile for the most part.

Hi. Just to check, do you mean these links on the My Stats to Find all posts and find all threads?

They are working for me, which is odd. They link to the old search page like this:
https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/search.php?do=finduser&u=4318958
https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/search.php?do=finduser&u=4318958&starteronly=1

If its not these pages can you post the links for the page that gives the error please? Are you getting an error for all users that you try to view the posts for?

Could you try in a logging in from a private tab and see if it works there? We have a known cookie bug that sometimes causes errors on the old pages so I'd like to try and rule that out.

Yes, the links from those pages.
They were briefly working again when you made your post, but have since gone down again. This is on mobile and desktop.
So for example:
https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/search.php?do=finduser&u=7522593
Throws up a "Sorry, search is having problems. Please try again." error message. It seems to be all users. Certainly everyone from this thread and others I've tried today and yesterday.
I'll give the other actions a go when I have some time.

Just to note that it isn't just a problem with accessing user stats from profile pages. When this error has come up for me, I've tried instead to use advanced search to search by user name user and got the error:
'the student room doesn't support a secure connection with HTTPS'
Again this is intermittent - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
