Just started adult nursing course and fund out I'm pregnant

Hi all,
I have just started an adult nursing course at university. I have just found out I am seven weeks pregnant and my baby is due beginning of May. I’m really worried as this is when my second placement is due to start and I won’t be able to do it. I am very confused that if I interrupt my studies at this point and return in September (year 2) how will I make up missing my second placement from year one. Will I still be able to set my exams from year one? I’m really worried having this baby is going to impact me completing year one at uni please help with some relevant information I may not already know.

If you interrupt your studies you are unlikely to go back as a second year, you will be restarting first year in September. If you want to keep the pregnancy you are almost just better to interrupt now and defer until next year- speak to your uni they will do what they can to help you and give all available options

How my uni does intercalation is you start back where you left. So if you go off begginning of may say in first year, when you come back say a year later you will restart begginning of may with the next first years
