Just started Adult nursing course and found out im pregnant

Hi all,
I have just started an Adult nursing courses at university and found out I’m seven weeks pregnant. I’m really worried as my baby is due at the beginning of May and this is when my second placement will take place on my course which I understand I cannot do. I will have to interrupt my studies and return in September of year two and continue my studies. I’m quite worried as I know I will need to make up the hours for my placement. How can I do this? Also are their allowances for exams? Will i still pass year 1?
Any relevant information to help in my situation is much appreciated, thank you

Hello,

Congratulations on your offer and pregnancy 🥳🥳
As far as my knowledge is that there is a minimum number of hours you are required to do to pass each placement. In your case, it is essential that you contact your university immediately for the possibility of them deferring your second placement instead of making you repeat the year after you comeback from maternity leave.
