How cooked am I?
I am not a widening participant.
I scored 1820 B3 on the UCAT and currently predicted at BCC, but I am doing resits and can jump up to AAB.
I want to do medicine but cannot afford to study abroad (I live in the UK).
I have looked at KCL extended programme and I am eligible for that. I am also considering Keele and Bristol with a foundation year, however I am unsure as Bristol heavily weighs in UCAT scoring (last year the cutoff for foundation year was in the 5th decile but I am in the 3rd decile).
I am not allowed to take a gap year either.

Bristol - "Applicants for Gateway to Medicine who have passed the minimum academic requirements will be ranked solely according to their UCAT score. This ranking will be used to determine which applicants are called for interview." Their UCAT cut-off is consequently always higher than other Unis who use multi-factor scoring incorporating A levels, GCSEs etc.
Be aware that if your new predicted grades mean that meet the contextual requirements for the main 5-year course, you will not be considered for the Gateway course at that Uni. Make sure you apply to the most appropriate course. The contextual requirements for the 5-year course at Bristol are "ABB including A in Chemistry and B in one of Biology, Physics, Mathematics or Further Mathematics"
