hello,
i sat my alevels in 2024, achieving CDE in economics, biology and maths due to personal circumstances. i then went off to do a marketing degree in london but i dropped out after my first year as i didnt like the uni.
i have then decided to take an access to HE medicine course in hopes that this will allow me to study medicine next september. however, im worried that i will not achieve the UCAT scores that i need to get into many places. i'm trying to apply strategically, of which i have chosen bristol, exeter, southampton and city st georges. due to me sitting this course, and having also have done my a levels in a close period of time to sitting this course, the unis which i am allowed to apply to are very limited. to be honest the only ones i think i can apply to are the ones i have already chosen.
i do get a guaranteed interview for bristol uni however - so im hoping that as long as i am well prepared, that this option will work out for me.
i am using medify at the minute and im struggling particularily with DM and QR, my scores being in the 1600-1860 range but i am scoring band 1/2 SJT. does anyone have any tips of how to improve quickly at DM and QR, and any advice on what to do if i do get a UCAT score that is on the lower end.
