Entry Requirement for Bath University

For my GCSE I got a 5 in English Language and an 8 for English Literature, I want to apply to an architecture course at the University Of Bath, I noticed they required - 6 or B in English Language or Literature. I am a bit confused what they mean. Do I have the required grades? Is a 5 equivalent to a B in GCSEs.

They only list the letter grade in case you obtained yours under the old one.

In this case you do meet the requirements as they’ll accept 6+ in either Lang or Lit.

As above - we need a suitable English qualification at GCSE which can be Language OR Literature, so with your 8 in Literature, yes you have the required grades at GCSE!
