How can I cancel just the maintenance loan?

If @Student Finance England (SFE) has already approved my loans but it turns out I do not need the maintenance loan anymore because I am staying at home, how can I cancel just the maintenance loan without having to cancel the whole application? The money hasn't been released into my account yet but will be soon, and I want to do it before as not to complicate things further.

Hi there,
You can change this online in your account. If you click on view/manage your application, change your application and loan amount and Maintenance Loan. If it doesn't let you do this online, it will give you the option to complete The Maintenance Loan Request Form. Once completed, you can then upload this under the evidence upload option. If your payment is due soon, I would suggest contacting us on live chat on your online account, and the advisor can temporally block the loan till we receive and process your form.
