DSA Funding during a PGCert?

I'm looking at applying for and starting a full time PGCert in January 2026 - the course would last 12 months. Can I apply for DSA for this? And if so, how do I go about applying for it on SFE - e.g. does a PGCert come under undergraduate, postgraduate or short course? (I would guess postgraduate but not sure as a PGCert isn't listed given that I can't get the loan for that).

Hi there,

We can check this on system for you. Can you confirm the course name, start date and university you wish to study with?

Thanks,
Claire

That looks right - just I would be looking to do the PGCert rather than the full MSc

Hi there,

When I have looked at our database that we hold with the university it is only showing as a full masters course. If it is not on our database then we will not be able to fund the course.

Thanks, Drew
