Adult nursing Teeside uni
Heyy I’m starting adult nursing at Teeside in January 2026 if anyone can give any advice it’s greatly appreciated!! Also if anyone has a heads up of what to research and look into before that would be great because I have nothing to do until then 😂

Congratulations! 🥳 That's great to hear you're starting adult nursing at Teesside!
While you’re waiting to start, it can help to:
•
Have a little look at some basics like anatomy and medical terminology – nothing too heavy, but it doesn't harm to get familiar!
•
Check out the NMC Code (what all nurses follow) and maybe keep an eye on health/NHS news so you feel a bit more in the loop.
•
Work on things like organisation and self-care – honestly so useful once placements and assignments kick in.
The adult nursing course page here has loads of info about the modules, how you’ll learn and be assessed, plus some videos that give you a feel for the course – worth a look if you’re curious before January!
You’re already doing the right thing by asking around now, you’ll settle in so much quicker when you start 😊
