dental application 2026 entry
Am i competitve enough to apply for dentistry:
- AAB, and I am applying for the access/contextual so that is accepted but it is the minimum so would that make me disadvantaged or do unis not rank as long as you meet the minimum requirement
- 2010 band 1, so 6/7 percentile ----> 2720 in 2024 ucat roughly
- gcse basically all 9s
- doing EPQ and have an A in Arabic Alevel
I want to apply to
- sheffield
- cardiff
- leeds
I am a bit confused about how they select for inteviews , do they rank you based on predicted and then if ucat is ranked am i on the lower end?
do i stand a chance for interviews ?
i am really worried and would really appreciate any advice.

Hi there
If you are contextual, why not apply to the gateway/ access to dentistry course such ad Leeds and Bristol?
