Hiya,
I'm also self teaching sociology, but just the Global Development topic! I'll link below resources I use with a little description next to them 😀
Ken Browne Textbook - In depth textbook with a lotta information
Tutor2u Store - Specifically, the topic companions are a real help for concise information to accompany the Ken Browne textbook when it's a little wordy and unclear. You might be able to find these on Stoducu.
The Hectic Teacher - Really decent supplementary resource to the textbook, with helpful bits on exam technique too.

Hello
I also used the Tutor2U booklets and found them very useful for the notes and the practice questions. They have a YouTube channel as well I recommend checking out as their videos give all the information you need in a concise way.
There's also a channel called TheTeacherSociology and she does videos on how to structure answers to get into the top marking bands.
I also found these textbooks useful, mainly for the practice questions.
