Medicine 2026 entry

I am a home schooled student but I was predicted grades A*A*A* from Learn direct. I had an extremely low UCAT score though. About 1590. First question : Is it possible to have my academic background compensate for my UCAT score if I apply to low UCAT universities, specifically University of Exeter and Aston University,Birmingham.
Second question : Is it possible for a home schooled student to be eligible for a contextual offer ?

Hi. I am home schooled and I took my UCAT a little earlier this month but it went worse than I hoped. I got a score of 1590 and an SJT band 1. I got predicted A*A*A* and I was wondering if my GCSE and my predicted A levels can compensate for my UCAT if I apply. And could anyone recommend universities that place a lot of emphasis on academics as against UCAT? Thank you
