Hello everyone,
I am an international student joining Keele in January 2026 for Adult Nursing, starting with the foundation course. I am 33 yrs, coming from a different field of study, so I really want to prepare myself mentally and academically before I arrive.
I have already received my unconditional offer and CAS, and while January feels a little far away, I don’t want to just wait idly. I have started going through some nursing and patient care courses on Udemy to build some understanding, but I would like to hear from current students, especially those who started this September with a foundation course or anyone who has done the foundation course at Keele.
Could you share where I can access useful materials or resources that relate directly to Keele’s foundation modules? I have checked the website, but most of what I have found is more of a general overview, and some resources I come across are based on the American curriculum, which may not fully match.
I know nursing is demanding and challenging, but it is a journey I have chosen and I want to be well prepare.
Any guidance, links, or even suggestions on what to focus on in advance would mean a lot.
Thank you in advance!
