A-levels

Why is that now when I'm starting A-levels, whenever I study or in general I have a headache and I feel tired everyday and I find the exam questions so hard even though I know/understand content?

A-levels are tough, okay? Headaches, sleepiness, and not getting the questions correct happen a lot when the assignments get tougher. This is usually when you've been all day looking at books and screens, not drinking enough water, eating junk food, and disrupting your sleeping schedule because you value grades. A-levels don't only involve what you learn. It's what you do with what you learn.
To lighten how you feel, try these:

1.

Take Breaks: Have a break from study to rest your eyes and mind.

2.

Eat and Drink: Good food and water sustain you. No alcohol.

3.

Sleep Well: Sleeping adequately makes you feel well and think well.

4.

Use Old Exams: Completing old tests helps you know what to expect.

5.

Talk It Out: Reread the material aloud. This may help clarify the material for you.

Ciao,

Sandro

Hey @N1c0l3z,

Make sure you're sleeping enough and staying hydrated - whilst headaches do occasionally happen whilst studying, repeated headaches do need addressed. If the issue continues, consider talking to your parents or contacting your GP.

If you're only starting A-Levels, exam questions will naturally be hard - you still have lots of content to learn and need time to adapt to how the questions are formatted at A-Level. Over the course of the year, exam questions should hopefully become more familiar and easier to answer. 🙂

Hope this helps and best of luck,
Eve (Kingston Rep).
