I need help if i should change econ to geography a level

Hi so im already in year 12 as im writing this it has just been 3 weeks. im quite an in desive person and dont really know what i want to in life. originally in yr 11 i was thinking about doing econ law sociology at a level then some of my friends said they were doing bio and chem and i thought i should think about it. i got good gcse reults and changed to bio chem and econ. i know theyre going to be hard but i just need to work hard. but idk if i want to change bio and chem so far in bio theres lots of content in chem its maths which is ok not really my strongest point econ is ok too .
at gcses i got a 9 in geography and when im sitting in econ i sometime realise the similarities so it makes me think if i should change econ to geo if its nit too lte if it is im ok with that too. i know a level geo is going to be much harder and if i do change im dreading the NEA. i think econ will be easy there is a lot of content in all my subjects but i feel like if i revise i could get good grades. my biggest worry is that im not going to get good grades and get into uni. i dont want to become a doctor but chose bio chem to keep my options open. im not interested in like essay subjects or like social sciences even though econ is one. i never did gcse business and most the people in my a level class did and i kinda feel behind. i think i would maybe regret not doing geo. i was considering changing bio/chem to geo and keeping one of bio/chem but for most unis u need both bio and chem so whats the point.also my 2 close bestfriends are in my econ class and if i change i feel like we wont see each other much even though we dont really see each other in lesson .

sounds like you’re giving this a lot of careful consideration, which is a really positive step. It’s normal to feel uncertain early in Year 12, and many students review their subject choices once they’ve started, so you are not alone in this.
If you are thinking about changing subjects, it’s important to act quickly, as most schools and colleges have deadlines within the first few weeks of term for making changes. I would recommend speaking to your subject teachers, your form tutor, or the sixth form team to get tailored advice. They can help you weigh up the differences between Geography, Economics, Biology, and Chemistry, and how each might support your future options. It may also help to consider the types of university courses or careers that interest you, even in a general sense, as this can guide whether keeping both sciences is necessary. If you’re not sure yet, don’t worry, many degrees welcome a range of A-level combinations. Most importantly, please try not to put too much pressure on yourself at this time. You are still very early in your A-level journey, and with the right support and revision strategies, you’ll be able to achieve strong results.
Your next step should be to arrange a meeting with your sixth form team as soon as possible to explore your options and deadlines for any subject changes.

Why did you switch to biology and chemistry in the first place I guess is the question. Do you actually have an interest in the sciences? Do you enjoy studying them? Are you planning to do a degree requiring science A-levels?

I think that first change is where you should focus on because you've indicated you have interests in both economics and geography and did very well in GCSE Geography, but your only rationale for pursuing the sciences seems to be some friends were doing it so you did it too? That isn't a great reason to choose A-level subjects!

You sound very interested in and good at the social sciences so why not simply focus on that? You could well take economics and geography plus a third subject (in whatever).
