accreditation

hi, i’m wanting to apply for a biology degree this year through ucas. i’m noticing some degrees are accredited aren’t some aren’t. is this a big deal? i’m worried if i end up doing a degree that isn’t accredited then i’ll not be able to apply for a job/masters programme at the end of it.
and if accreditation is important does it have to be RBS accredited?
Thanks!

RSB accreditation means very little. It won't ban you from anything.

Unis like 'badges' - and this is one of those.

Hi @islaschooling23

Accreditations in bioscience degrees mean next to nothing (except for IBMS-accreditation for Biomedical Science, which is needed for a specific career pathway). No future degree/job will require it or prefer it to a non-accredited bioscience degree.
