Changing student finance details
Hi, I’m starting at uni next week and I’ve just changed my bank details to a student bank account. I was just wondering if there was anything else I needed to change to make sure that the money is being taken out of the account that the loan is being paid into not the old account that I had linked!! Any help would be appreciated!

Your maintenance loan from Student Finance will always be paid into the bank account details you provided directly to them, so please make sure you’ve updated your new student bank account details with Student Finance as soon as possible.
For any payments to the University (such as tuition fees or accommodation), you can update your bank details through your Student Portal or by contacting the Finance team.
If you’ve done both, everything should be set up correctly for the start of term.
