Funding for extra year

I'm currently a week into 3 year liberal arts course (studying philosophy, Russian and other compulsory lib arts units) but want to transfer to just the philosophy and Russian course. the only issue is that the new course includes a mandatory year abroad, so i would need to get funding for a 4 year course rather than 3. the problem with this is that i already used up my "extra" year of funding when i dropped out of uni the first time round after one year. would changing from a 3 year to a 4 year course count as needing an extra year? bearing in mind i'm not even a week into my original course yet and wouldn't be redoing the year or anything.

Hi there,

Just to confirm you only have one year of previous study and you want to transfer to the 4 year course? Have you discussed this with your university and have they agreed to this? Have you received any payments so far?

Thanks, Drew
