Unis that offer an undergraduate study in Marine Biology AND Zoology
Hey! I’m looking at attending university in a couple of years. I was wondering if anyone is studying, or wants to study Marine Biology/Zoology and Zoology in one course if that makes sense. I really want to learn about all species of animals and not specify in Marine or Zoology or Wildlife. Does anyone have any recommendations of what unis (in the UK) that would be best to consider? Im hoping to study zoology 🙂
Off the top of my head id recommend looking at Southampton, Essex, Portsmouth, Aberystwyth, Swansea, and Bangor. Some unis you can just apply for marine bio and that’ll have a lot of zoology modules in it.

What's your goal? What do you want to achieve by studying this? Because there’s different answers. Do you want to learn more about their biology to be an exotic vet? Do you want to do ecological research? Let us know more so we can help in detail.

Thankyou for replying. I want to travel around the work learning about fauna and their environment as well as protecting them and caring for them. So I was hoping to learn about their classification, evolution, biology, just everything revolving around all animals. I don’t want to do Animal Biology/Welfare/Ecology/Behaviour as I did that as my college A-Levels so I want to learn more and something different (if that makes sense)
