Is it worth applying for law at Oxford?

So basically at mid way through year 11 I moved countries due to family issues. I moved from the uk to Pakistan due to this I had to give my GCSEs in batches. For example, maths and English in one series and then bio chem phy in the next. So over the course of two years I did this, in between I had surgery and a few other mitigating factors. Overall, I scored AAAAAAA*
Taught myself the entire syllabus from scratch without the help of a school or any tutors, I’m doing the same for a levels.

Forgot to mention another reason I had to give it all in different batches was because I had to change my subjects due to half of them not being offered in Pakistan and the syllabus being quite different to uk.

Fast forward to today my a level subjects are economics, maths and English literature.
I want to study law as mentioned in the title, I know Oxford places importance on GCSEs and also emphasises how everything must be sat in one series. Hence, I’m sceptical as to whether I stand a chance. Im aware that I can ask my referee to mention all this in my reference but will Oxford actually understand? Do I stand a chance?

Yes your GCSEs are fine and given the circumstances, you did remarkably well and showed real resilience and self-motivation. Just make sure your referee explains this all in the extenuating circumstances section.
