Do you know if they’ll release more roles or are the roles posted all of the available ones?

I’d imagine that will be all of the roles, unless they’ve said otherwise on their website

I've received an assessment invitation, but haven't done the assessment yet. What about you?

They've switched it up this academic year. They're using Arctic Shores now

If you don’t mind me asking were these the “games” (or similar) you was tested on OR are you assuming it will be these. What’s been the experience of other people doing the initial online assessment for Summer’26 intake.. is it Arctic games or a typical SJT/numerical assessment?

I passed the online assessment, need to do the video interview now. Icl the online assessment was super weird, idk how it relates to the role but ill take it over the timed numerical tests the other companies have used, i keep failing those ones

Like instead of situational, verbal reasoning or numerical assessments like most companies do, I instead did the pattern recognition of shapes (not that weird but the format it was done was unusual), do a directional test based on speed (do it in less than 2 seconds) which the only reason I think i passed that was because i have taken part in actual psychology studies as a participant and I did that loads of times. Another was recognising the emotions on AI generated people faces and you had 7 seconds to respond, ngl thought id failed that because im terrible at recognising facial emotions especially with how small the chances in expression were.

The weirdest and hardest by far has to be the prediction test. About 100 questions and 3 seconds to answer each one, the first 10 or so are defo guesses because u cant actually get them correct from the get go and even if you did memorise the patterns that correspond with day and night its not 100% guaranteed that that will be the correct answer as its only right maybe 8/10 times. So its a section where u can get the answer right and its actually wrong prediction method, get the answer wrong but used correct memorisation and prediction method or you can get it right and be right but thats not always guaranteed

Many thanks for this. A lot there to get one’s head round and makes sense of, but directionally helpful. Will need to go away and try figure out what each component actually looks like. Best of luck with the video interview.

No it was these games. There are 3 easier games out of the 5 - the faces, security lock and idk what the game is called exactly but its to press p or q depending on the shape and number present within the box. The 2 which I found horrible were the balance task - for the practice, the example given was 1 diamond weighs the same as 2 squares so the question was how many squares does 2 diamonds weight. You have to drag the shapes onto the scale. But then honestly, it was not easy. They threw in random shapes and etc, blah blah. I would reccomand practicing this somewhere if you are able to, I could'nt find anything online. The other game which is lowkey hard is the pattern gam, so you will sets of patterns which are either for night or day. So you get 5 seconds to choose which one you think it is...about 100 goes on this. Good luck!

do you have any advice for the balance task at the start? flopped that bad

Wait guys! I think everyone is getting different games. I never got the balancing task in my assessment, and the P and Q test mentioned above was arrows for me not shapes.
