PPE Options

I'm currently a yr 13 student considering applying PPE at university. I've decided on Oxford, LSE, UCL, and Warwick, but I am unsure about my fifth choice. Currently considering Durham or KCL, but Economics at St Andrews also seems interesting. Which one of these three is best if im applying PPE/Economics for ranking/teaching?

Depends on what you want from the degree.
In terms of purely academics I would go for St Andrews its better on the rankings and I've only heard positive stuff about the course.
In terms of being in London and connections especially to go into something like investment banking KCL is great with employers. Durham also has quite a strong alumni network. Both are stronger targets than St Andrews.
A reminder that all these courses are extremely competitive so depending on your grade profile its not a bad idea to have a safety. All of these universities have respectable courses so it would also be important to what student life you would like.

I applied to a safety and got rejected from them lol. Ended up having both my firm and insurance as the same grade requirements. A*A*A*A predicted student. Guess what happened lol. Always apply to a safety - don't risk it and keep the option available for future you. Year 13 me didn't care that I got rejected, but gap year me cares a lot
