uni of surrey accommodation guest rules?
I’ve started my first year at Surrey and I was planning to let my boyfriend stay over for a day or two at my accommodation during his visit.
But I read on the rules that guests aren’t allowed to stay in the accommodation with you and so now I’m worried about letting him come over to visit and stay, are Surrey quite strict? What are the chances that I’m reported for letting him stay for a night or two? Any advice or insight please?

At most unis you have to sign visitors in for fire regulations - I expect the halls have CCTV so it would be risky and flatmates could report you!

eek my boyfriend has also just started his first year at Surrey and I am also having the same worries about when I go and stay.. honestly I think its more of a safety regulation which I suppose if thats a risk you're willing to take then it should be fine so long as you have a good bond with your flat mates and they won't report you.. I hope it goes well and I hope you guys have fun <3
