Since we're like guinea pigs do you think there's a chance that the exam wont be too difficult?

I think it'll be 'easy' in the sense that they can't make it harder than before without getting a lot of critisism.. however..you never know!!

In GCSE I did the new spec. of the edexcel maths, and because it was the 1st year, the exam was PAINFULLY easy!

so hopefully this'll be similar.. sort of.

I'm really worried about this exam! Have missed a lot of lessons due to being ill... and all the revision I'm doing just seems to be going over my head

Reply 43

So have you all finished your revision for this unit?

Reply 44

Course not! I shall still be reivisng right until the exam! It would be silly to give up revision just because I've done it all!

Reply 45

I meant have you all finished your revision and just doing past papers now

Reply 46

i've finished all my revision from that AQA Biology Book and now just going through some past Human Biology questions and a revision guide. Although i'm getting the feeling time is running out...

Reply 47

Oh god, 9 (10 depending on how you look at it) days left before the exam.
...Kill me now. T.T

Can someone pleeeeeeeeease explain to me the flow of blood in the heart? I don't undertsand it! I mean, Okay, two atriums, two ventricles, two valves and whatnot.. but how do you know where the blood goes?

Reply 50

For Fatema991:
its a bit difficult to explain over the internet but i'll hav a go
right so this diagram shows you where the blood goes to and where it comes from...

the blue side is always deoxygenated blood...(basically always coloured blue..) and so you can work out, if you know that that side is blue...that where the blood comes into that side..it must be coming from the body..because it has little/no-oxygen in it..and so logically you know that this blood will have to go back to the lungs to be oxygenated....and so the other side gets the blood back from the lungs and sends it round the body.
THEN all you need to do is learn the labels of all the bits in the heart, and you can aply then to the different parts of the heart.

that help at all?? btw which skl in brighton do u go to?? I go to skl in burgess hill
