Y13 maths test

We’ve just done a set of mocks for y13 to show what content we’ve learnt and how well we did
I do bio socio and maths (weird mix I know)
And I think I did well in bio and socio but I have a painful dread eating at me cos I know I did so much more worse in maths then im capable
Initially for our first set of mocks in y12 I got BCD (predicted) b in maths c in bio and d in sociology
But I was a mark off in bio and sociology I just kinda left to waste
So I actually revised sociology this time around as well as bio and maths
But talking to everyone I’ve made such stupid mistakes I tried my best but I feel like I need to try harder yet I keep hitting this mental block where if I push myself too much I’m gonna get burnt out and not have time to revise my other subjects
I feel my new predicted will be BCD or e which is better but I just don’t think I’m capable of hitting those higher graded
I don’t know whether I should change my revision style so early into y13 or I should just work harder bear in mind that I was doing around 2-3 hours leading up to the exam and within the last 2 weeks of it coming up I averaged around 4-8 hours as we had school some days I couldn’t really revise
I’m just annoyed cos I know I’m better at maths but I just had severe brain fog and it’s ****ed my paper up and I don’t even think I can get onto any decent uni courses I am unsure at to what I wanna do right now
I’m just thinking of giving up with trying to hard cos it never leads anywhere im just sick of trying and trying and I end up with a pile of ****
Am I just being inconsiderate or is it something else
Would love to hear your guys opinion

Mocks are supposed to draw attention to your flaws, not to define you, so try not to be too severe on yourself. You've already made progress in sociology and biology, demonstrating the effectiveness of your revision. Even if you make mistakes in maths, it doesn't mean you're not capable. Instead of burning out, try concentrating on shorter, more intelligent revisions. There is still time for things to improve.

Try not to be too hard on yourself because mocks are meant to highlight your shortcomings rather than define you. You've already shown that your revision was successful by making progress in biology and sociology. Math errors do not necessarily indicate a lack of ability. Try focusing on smarter, shorter edits rather than burning out. There's still time for improvements.

It just annoys me how bad I did cos I know I’m better but I feel horrible
It might also do with the fact that the people around me are basically an average A student and I’m a low b maybe c student and it can be quite demoralising
