Can I study Comp Sci without further math

Hi, so currently in taking Math, Physics and Chemistry for A level. For reference I achieved 9 in all those subjects at GCSE. My school doesn’t offer further math and I don’t think I can self study it because I learn best with teachers. I know it’s impossible to get into Cambridge, imperial etc but can I still get into a good russel group uni?

If you think you could do well at further maths at a different school it's worth looking into that. it's worth your career development. My boyfriend switched to a different school that had further maths and got into really good universities and is now working a really great job. He said it was really worth the investment to commute a bit farther when he was in school. But it's not easy to transfer I just want to remind you it's a possibility.

Imperial says FM is preferred not essential. This is because many schools don't offer FM - and your school should state this clearly in your UCAS reference.

A lot of universities usually ask for Mathematics or Computer Science in terms of A level subject requirements, the fact that you already have Maths is a strong point. You can still get into a good Russel group uni, though to gain further clarification; it might be helpful to email the departments for the courses you are particularly interested in to enquire further about the subject specific requirements, it is definitely worth trying to email these higher ranking unis you've mentioned because your subject combo is still very good despite not having the further maths.

Good Luck!

This is not a helpful reply. You don't need to email anyone - just look on the relevant course page on the Uni website for the 'entry requirements'. And Comp Sci A level is usually not required - even by top Universities - check the links in my post above. And, its spelt Russell.
