Transfer to imperial, UCL, KCL or cambridge

I am doing chemical engineering at QMUL, its my first year and I wanted to ask if it was possible to transfer to these for the same course from year two with very very good grades in year 1
Cambridge don't consider transfers from other UK universities.
I think it's unlikely for the others, and you would more likely be advised to reapply for first year entry.
Also KCL doesn't offer a chemical engineering degree.

Top Unis are exceptionally unlikely to accept a transfer if you do not meet their A level requirements for that course, regardless of your 1st year grades. All you can do is ask, but be prepared for No.
