biomed vs med science at aru
Hi does anyone know the difference between biomedical sciences and medical sciences at anglia ruskin uni . On the website the courses seem quite similar and I was wondering whether there rlly different. Also which one would be better for the Internal transfer to MBChB Medicine? thx

Both can be supported for the internal transfer to Medicine. More info about the scheme can be found on the Internal Transfer to MBChB Medicine webpage.
As for the differences, Medical Science is based in Chelmsford and Biomedical Science is based in Cambridge. Have you got a campus you would prefer to study at? Most students who would like to do an internal transfer to Medicine opt for Medical Science as it’s based in Chelmsford and this is where the Medicine course is.
Further, the modules they offer are slightly different. Take a browse at their modules (Medical Science modules here, and Biomedical Science modules here) and see what course content you would prefer 😊
