Does SFE cover all 4 years of an Mpharm degree (maintanence and tuition fee loan)?

I am currently a first year, but I was wondering if I will get a tuition fee loan and a maintanence loan for all 4 years. I am studying it as an undergraduate, but I don't think SFE has maintanence loans for masters, and mpharm is technically a masters degree. I'm asking because I need to know if I need to start saving money for the 4th year. I know that SFE works on the basis that it cover all years of your degree + 1 bonus, but mpharm being a masters makes me doubt it

Hi there,

Can you confirm if you have any previous study before doing your Mpharm? Is your course full time?

Thanks,
Claire

Every student is entitled to funding for the length of their course plus one additional year, minus any previous study. The course you have started will be classed as your additional year used, so you should still be eligible for funding for the new course.

When are you hoping to start your new course?

Thanks,
Claire

The OP has just started a 4-year Mpharm course and has no previous study. Can you confirm if Mpharm is classified as an integrated masters and therefore qualifies for undergraduate funding for all four years of the course?

I'm pretty sure it's an integrated masters degree, and on my SFE application it is down as a undergraduate course

Hi there,

Can you confirm the full name of your course and what university you will attend?

Thanks, Drew
