Alternate offers at Bath for CS

Hi everyone,
I'm a bit confused about how alternative offers work at Bath for Computer Science.

Their website says the standard offer is A*A*A , but then they mention that if you do an EPQ and get an A, you might get an alternative offer (like A*AA instead of A*A*A, for example).

I'm predicted A*A*A at A-level and I'm also doing an EPQ. Does this mean Bath would automatically give me the reduced offer (A*AA) if I get an A in my EPQ? Or is that something I’d need to apply/request, or only applies in certain cases?

That information is at least three years out of date, unfortunately.

Entry requirements are now A*A*A for a standard offer and A*AA for a contextual/alternative offer.

Otherwise, you are correct. If you get an offer, the offer will be A*A*A, but you will also have additional offer text with your alternate offer conditions (A*AA).
