A level chemistry yr 13

I’m studying aqa a level chemistry, aiming for a B, and achieved a grade D in my end of year 12 mocks. I didn’t make enough revision resources in year 12 so when it got to revising that content I found it difficult. So would anyone have any advice on how I can efficiently revise to improve my final grade, without having the time now to make loads of notes and flashcards? thanks

Have a look at https://www.chemguide.co.uk/ (this website was a life saver in my A-level Chemistry!) and MaChemGuy in youtube. He does OCR Chemistry but it will be very similar to AQA and you can use it to understand the same chemical concepts anyway.

Also, use your study periods wisely, do lots of work to catch up, ask your Chemistry teacher for help and also try to find one of your classmates who might be kind enough to loan you or let you copy his notes of year 12. Also, in Chemistry, you learn by doing, so make sure to be on top of your homework and maybe even ask for extra homework to your teacher to get the hang of it.

Whilst the above suggestions are excellent, my honest advice would be to prioritise using AQA-specific resources such as Davies A level chemistry (especially for solutions to past papers), Eliot Rintoul and Dr Clay’s AQA A level chemistry over MaChemGuy.
