ESAT help

Hi guys,

I’ve just done my first EENGA Section 1 paper and got 12/30 (on the ESAT prep page so some questions were marked off). This is so bad. I understand it’s my first paper but there’s only 13 days until the ESAT and I don’t know how to revise. I was planning on doing all the EENGA/ NSAA sections within these 2 weeks but the papers are taking me longer to go through than expected and I’m worried seeing others revision and tips that I should’ve finished these papers a lot earlier and then worked through them again quicker and quicker.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, not to mention that I would like to do some TMUA section 1 papers.

Is this even feasible now? I’m applying to Cambridge but this gross score put me off. Could anyone who’s sat the ESAT before give me any advice or anyone who was in a similar position and still got in!

Hi, i'm applying to imperial physics so i also have to do the esat - and im in the same position as you, i've barely revised and i'm starting to get so worried
i know this wasn't very helpful but what i've been doing recently is i do the papers in timed conditions and i try to give myself less time than i'd get in the actual thing and then there's video solutions on youtube for almost all the papers so i watch those and try to see how i could do them faster
i was also going to do tmua paper 1 but honestly there's barely any time i think i just need to get through all the nsaa papers
it sucks because we don't even know what the difficulty level will be of esat so we don't even know how to prep for it and whether to use engaa section 2 and pat papers
good luck!!

You’ve left it way too late - but it should improve if you’re consistent… good luck

Yeah.. Thank you nonetheless! My scores on the NSAA/ EENGA papers have jumped up to about 18/30 after two papers but the TMUA is looking impossible to do especially because I need to do the rest of the NSAA/ EENGA papers and then review them so I'm worried about my maths sections revision
