Volunteering-Dentistry.
Hi, I want to pursue a career in Dentistry and alot fo unis require volunteering. The problem is there are no opportunities currently available at hospitals. The care homes are either 18+ or far away or sadly only want volunteers Monday to Friday.(there is one opportunity a hour away, which is to sell things in a trolley but idk how much interaction with patients and skills I'll pick up through that)
The easiest option at the moment seems to volunteer in a charity shop, but I don't know if dental schools would value that as much?
Has any previous applicant done volunteering at charity shop and have you got in? Any advice or organisations that allow 16+ to volunteer would be much appreciated plsss.
