Ucas application deadline for Warwick

Hey guys

When’s the best time to give in ucas application for universities like Warwick?

Does it ‘look better’ if I do like Oct-Nov or Dec-Jan?

Please let me know, appreciate it 💖

January as it’s not Oxbridge unless for medicine or dentistry, then it’d be October. I don’t think it looks “better” or “worse” when you apply but if you want to get an offer back sooner, I’d apply sooner. It just depends on when you’re ready to apply
What course are you applying for?

I applied in November and it was completely fine. Warwick does not give extra advantage if you send it in October compared to later months. They look at all applications equally as long as it is before the UCAS deadline. The important thing is that your personal statement and your references are strong, not the exact month you send it. So honestly I would say just apply when you feel your application is ready. For me November worked really well because I had enough time to polish everything and still felt early enough.

No University does. If you apply before the Jan deadline, you are guaranteed 'equal consideration' by all Universities. Schools are sometimes guilty of telling student this 'apply early' myth as a way of galvanising the procrastinators. No school actually wants to be writing references etc over the Christmas holidays.
