Midwifery Entry requirements

Hello
I have A B D at A Level.
Would I be considered at Cardiff, UWE or USW with these grades.

My other option is to study Pathways to degree in Healthcare for a year to give me an additional 60 credits .

Thank you ☺️

Cardiff requires ABB, UWE requires 120 points (you have 112), USW requires BBB. So your achieved grades don't meet the entry requirements for any of your choices. Contact admissions and ask if you would be considered or if you need additional qualifications. You could also consider an Access to Higher Education Diploma, which is a common route into healthcare courses for mature students.

Hi @Renee.hadfield!,

It's great to hear you're considering UWE! I have some friends who study healthcare subjects here and it certainly is a good place for it (as well as Glenside Campus being very pretty!).

For advice specifically about if your grades would be sufficient to get on this course, it's 100% worth asking the admissions team, who you can contact on:
Telephone: +44 (0)117 32 83333
Email: [email protected]

They should be able to advise further on this.

We hope to see you soon and good luck with your applications.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any more questions.

Kind regards,
Cara (2nd year Marketing student)
