Hi, I'm interested in putting UCL Economics and stats as one of my options, however I'm concerned with my GCSE grades:
9988887765 (All my stem subjects are 8 or +, however I did flop English language which I got a 6)
I'm currently predicted an A*, A*, A, and just sat another round of mocks, so hopefully A*, A*, A* when I apply. I do Math, Econ, Business
My other options are
- Warwick Econ
- Bath Econ
- Southampton Econ
- ?
Would appreciate some honest answers, thanks.

hey!

these seem like a great set of gcse grades, and well done on predicted!

honestly, you shouldnt have any issue with applying to ucl, as whilst they do consider gcses, yours are good enough for them to accept you. just work on your personal statement, and you should be good!!
Hello @cyrusY28,

That’s great to hear you are considering economics at these universities! These are great GCSE grades and you should definitely consider applying to UCL.

Southampton is also a great choice for economics as it is a highly ranked Russel Group university and I have had the best time here so far studying psychology.

If you have any other questions let me know and good luck!
