Is it worth applying to Queen Mary University of London for Law?

I want to apply to Queen Mary to study law, however my GCSE's consisted of two 7s (english lit and lang), four 6s (history, business, french and biology) and two 5s (chem and physics).

For A-levels I am predicted AAA.

Is it worth applying?

I would think it unlikely that you would get an offer. Your GCSE grades suggest that you will probably get something like BBB at A level. Queen Mary ask for A*AA. Though of course they could possibly consider a contextual offer of AAB, which still appears to be beyond you.

Hey, @Sukhmani22!

I recommend looking at The University of Law if you're exploring your options. ULaw focuses on employability, strong links with firms, and practical teaching that prepares you for life as a lawyer. We also have a great employability team that supports you from day one and continues even after graduation. It might be worth considering alongside your other choices, so you should come to one of our open days!

We actually have two campuses in London for you to choose from, as well as several more across the country and online study options, so you can pick the location and study environment that works best for you.

Best of luck with your applications!

Jess 😊

Your GCSEs don't meet QMUL's requirements: "A minimum of six GCSE passes at grades AAAABB or 777766 including English and also Maths at grades C or 4, or an acceptable equivalent."
