Oxford CAT

Are there any marking schemes to help with Oxford CAT revision?

No, Oxford don’t publish mark schemes.

The best way to revise is to do the practice test and revise the grammar and vocabulary you are learning for A level. Don’t get fixated on numerical mark schemes (having one wouldn’t help anyway), instead just try to get your language as good as it can be.

Practice papers on the official website don’t come with mark schemes, but for me (I did Latin BTW; idk if Greek is different) I just searched up the texts and sections online (referenced under the passage), and used the English translations to self-assess my own translations.

Which film and novel did you study for A-Level French?

What was your IRP topic based on?

I am studying La Haine and No Et Moi.

I also did La Haine, but my book was L’étranger!
My IRP was on the issues surrounding posthumous marriage, which is legal in France. It was interesting but difficult to research as it’s a pretty niche topic

Are you selling your notes? 🙂 I wonder if they're in word format? 😧 Perhaps put them for sale online on "Etsy.com?" 😉
