Hey!! I'm interested in applying this year as well. What specific area are you most interested in? Would you be willing to start from your favourite topic and go from there?)

Heyyy ! I’m 100% naturally more inclined toward sociology and anthropology however I think there’s deficit between me politics and ir. But I’m still doing my readings though so if that’s where your interest lies I think a convo would help consolidate my knowledge 🙂

AHH nice I love sociology a lot and only know a few things about san. what's one thing you've read recently? maybe I can have a quick glance at it and throw some questions at you about it. If it's limited access I might only be able to read the abstract for a short while. do you think that's a good way to start our academic convo? I would love to know more about social anthropology so maybe exploring that first would be good? up to you tho!! what college are you interested in btw?

Haha sorry for the late reply. I replied earlier but it's currently being reviewed rn🥲🥲. Think posting socials on here might be a orange flag.

Hiya! Hope your MCapp submission went smoothly! I also don't do politics cos my school doesn't offer it ahaha. But yes, Art of War, I know if from writing my EPQ on Tibet lol. I find it interesting the way it has influenced many prolific leaders. Here's some questions for you:

Can you summarise what the Art of War is? Any quotes that strike you?

Do you know of any leaders who have used Sun Tzu's tactics to win over an opponent? Either historical wars or used in verbal exchanges.

What are the modern day applications of the Art of War? Is it still relevant?

Are there any ethical concerns with using the Art of War as a tool to colonise?

Let me know what you think!!
