Applying for vet med advice needed asap

Hi I just tried to post my question but I don't think it posted - sorry if it posted twice.

I'm applying for vet med this year and my college's deadline is today. I'm predicted AAB - the B is in chemistry and I have been asking my teacher for a while if I can increase it to an A but she said she only could if I got an A in the mock. We just got it back and I got a C I'm really disappointed because I did so much revision and worked so hard to not even get what I needed :frown:
I already messaged her to see if there's any way she can predict me an A still but I'm not optimistic because she has been very strict about only doing it if I got an A in this mock and the deadline is literally today.
So I'm just wondering what my options are now?
Will I just get automatically rejected based on my predicted grades if I apply to vet schools with AAA requirements or can they offer me a place based on getting AAA in my actual exams?
My plan is apply to vet schools with lower entry requirements and then see what I get in my actual alevels and then if I get AAA take a gap year and reapply. Can anyone advise on if this is a good idea or not?
Any advice is appreciated I'm really freaking out and I still have to tell my parents :frown:(((
